Hey, I'm Jessica!
I’m based in North Augusta, SC, and have photographed animals for over 20 years. I’ve shared my life with rescue cats, dogs, a rabbit, and even a blue jay named Joey! Home these days includes my husband, four cats, and a beagle, so I’m always surrounded by inspiration. I love connecting with animals and capturing their personalities in everyday settings.

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
How much does a pet session cost?
Pet sessions are $350 and include one hour of photography, an online gallery for proofing and selecting images, and up to 15 high-resolution, professionally-edited digital files to use however you'd like. You can order prints and other products directly through the gallery or elsewhere if you prefer.
Do you offer discounts?
Yes! Book back-to-back sessions at the same location and receive a discount on each session. Reach out to your family, friends, and neighbors to crowdsource! Any session type can be discounted this way - mix and match pets and people portraits. Reach out via my contact form and I'll work with you to make it happen.
How long is a pet session?
Pet sessions are 75 minutes. The first 15 minutes are for your pet to acclimate to my presence and the camera. Then I'll take photos for 60 minutes.
Where do sessions take place?
Usually at your home or another place where your pet feels comfortable. I shoot with natural light and will photograph your pet indoors and outside.
What if my pet is shy or nervous?
I'll spend 15 minutes allowing your pet to approach and get to know me before I take out my camera. The sessions are relaxed and on their terms. And I never expect animals to pose – they do best when given the space to be themselves!
Should I be in the photos with my pet?
Yes! While most of the session will be focused on them, I recommend getting at least 1-2 poses of you with your pet.
