Pet Portrait Sessions
Fine art portraits in everyday spaces your pet loves
Every session is laid-back, pet-led, and focused on capturing your pet’s personality.
Whether they’re shy, high-energy, or a couch potato, I go at their pace and keep it low-stress.

The location

Where we shoot
Sessions happen in one location—ideally, where your pet feels safest. That’s usually at home, but I’m happy to suggest spots if you need ideas.
Indoor Light
I'll use available natural light, no flashes or lights. Bright rooms with filtered sunlight are ideal. Daytime is best!
Outdoor Light
Golden hour (the hour before sunset) gives the best light outdoors. We’ll pick the right time based on the season.

The session

First 15 minutes:
get acquainted
Your pet has time to sniff, explore, and get comfortable with me and my gear. I’ll take a few test shots so they get used to the sound.
next 60 minutes:
The shoot
I’ll be shooting pretty much the whole time to catch every moment. If your pet needs a break, no problem! I’ll follow their lead.
Want to be in the photos too?
While the session centers on your pet, I encourage you to join for a few photos together. These moments are sometimes the most meaningful.
Feeling camera-shy? No pressure. If you’re unsure, I recommend being dressed and ready in case it feels right. You can always opt out during the shoot.
